Scleral Contact Lenses
Scleral contact lenses are very large (up to 26mm-compared to a standard daily lens of about 14mm or a rigid gas permeable lens at about 9.5mm), this helps in stabilising the image obtained. Also as they effectively create a new cornea (front of eye) albeit one made out of plastic.
For people with damaged or distorted corneas these are ideal products, they are also amazing for people with dry eyes as they keep a store of liquid under the contact lens. People with keratoconus, scarred corneas, clients with corneal grafts are all grateful of scleral lenses to give them better comfort and quality of vision

Coloured Contact Lenses
For years, people have been using contact lenses to change their eye colour. While most of these lenses simply enhance the existing colour of the iris, there are also some that can change the eye colour completely. These lenses work by blocking some of the light that would normally enter the eye, thus changing the way the iris appears.
While they’re most commonly used for cosmetic purposes, there are also a number of people who use them for medical reasons, such as reducing the appearance a squint. Regardless of the reason, there’s no doubt that these lenses can have a noteworthy effect on your appearance.
